Shannon graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) in 2021.  She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in September 2022.

Whilst at University, Shannon was employed as a law clerk by Ian Robertson SC at Jeffcott Chambers.  She later worked as an Inquest Legal Assistant in the Coroners Court of South Australia.  In 2021, Shannon was employed as a law clerk at Norman Waterhouse Lawyers in its Commercial Dispute Resolution Team.

Between 2022 and 2023 Shannon was an Associate to the Honourable Chief Justice Kourakis of the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Shannon joined Iles Selley in September 2023 as a solicitor assisting Nick Iles and Sam Potts on a range of professional indemnity, medical malpractice and general commercial litigious matters.
