Sam Potts

Sam was admitted to practice in February 2019 after completing his Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Arts (History & Sociology) from Flinders University in November 2018. As part of his undergraduate studies, Sam participated in a semester exchange program at the University of Calgary, Canada.

Prior to his admission, Sam undertook his Practical Legal Training at Iles Selley Lawyers. Following this, he provided research assistance to barrister, Ben Doyle, in a number of criminal appeals and general commercial matters.

In November 2018, Sam joined HWL Ebsworth Lawyers where he worked within the Insurance team and assisted in the representation of national insurers and self-insured employers in public liability, professional indemnity, workers compensation and general insurance matters.

Sam returned to Iles Selley Lawyers as a Solicitor in October 2019 where he works closely with Nicholas Iles and Nathan Day on a range of professional indemnity, medical malpractice and general commercial litigious matters.

Outside work, Sam is the current President of the Sacred Heart Old Collegians Cricket Club.
