Claire graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts (Politics) in 2008 and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2011. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 2011 and the High Court of Australia in May 2012.
After graduating, Claire relocated to Sydney where she was employed at a specialist commercial litigation firm. Claire lived and worked in Sydney for three and a half years gaining valuable experience in predominantly insurance, contract and consumer disputes.
Claire returned to Adelaide in April 2015 to join Iles Selley. Claire works with Matthew Selley on a range of commercial and criminal matters. Her recent experience has been focused on unfair preference claims, contract, defamation and construction disputes. Claire also acts for a number of local winemakers on both litigious and transactional matters.
