Charlie joined Iles Selley as a Law Clerk in September 2024 and is now a Solicitor as of July 2025 upon completion of his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Charlie was admitted to practice in July 2025 following the completion of a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) double degree at the University of Adelaide. As part of his Law studies, Charlie undertook an exchange at the University of Glasgow in the first half of 2024. In the first semester of 2023, he was a member of the University of Adelaide’s Entrepreneur and Venture Legal Advice Clinic, where he advised individuals and enterprises for commercial matters.

He predominately works alongside Principal Matthew Selley toward the resolution of commercial disputes, with matters canvassing equitable issues, estate disputes, director disputes and shareholder disputes.
